The assessment is built to be fast, and most questions are a single click: yes or no, this or that, pick from a list. You are not writing essays or guessing at technical specifications, because the work of turning your answers into a precise match happens on our side rather than yours.
That simplicity is deliberate, since clean and structured inputs are what let the platform measure fit precisely. The easier it is for you to answer honestly, the better the match on the other side.
The first of its kind.
Every other source in this market runs on sentiment. Star ratings count opinions, analyst coverage tracks vendor scale and marketing budget, and vendor marketing benchmarks a product against itself. None of it tells a buyer whether a system actually fits.
PreShiftIQ is different in kind, because it matches on basis, meaning the measured and validated evidence of what a vendor can genuinely do, weighed against the documented reality of what you need. It is a calculation rather than a popularity contest, and it is the first technology of its kind built to serve the buyer this way.
How the match is computed.
A buyer completes a structured assessment of current-state and future-state operations. Matching is disqualification-first: vendors that cannot serve the documented operation are removed before anything is scored. The remaining vendors are scored on measured fit across weighted dimensions, against interview-validated vendor capability, and earn credit for each of the buyer's own requirements and preferences they meet. Scoring is payment-blind, so what a vendor pays never enters the math, and every match is recorded immutably.
Vendors that cannot serve your role, cannot cover the modes or jobs you rate as core (High, or named as a dealbreaker), or cannot legally serve the Canadian lanes you run today are excluded before scoring. Apart from any vendor you name to leave out, no other requirement you state eliminates a vendor: a vendor that meets one earns credit for it, a vendor known to miss one may take a mild reduction, and each certification you require is reported met, unmet or not assessed on the accepted match, so you never weigh a product that was never going to work and you never lose a strong fit over a single preference. We keep the path from your requirements to your result as short and as measured as possible, because the fewer assumptions between what you need and what you are shown, the more you can trust the answer. It is evidence in, and fit out.
